living breathing fumes
kindled passion pureed
in the fire of my soul

furnace of my desire
internal eternal inferno
living breathing fervor
fevered fury ablaze
in my core and being

raging wild
lashing blind
in incoherent incapacity
a blazing bonfire
of my vanity

loving kindness
conscious compassion
carefully attended
in an outer daily life
tames the beast

the will and willingness
to be large enough
to be generous enough
to hold in certain love
this essential flame

be fully alive
