NYC: touching down and reaching out

One of our favourite cities to explore together is NYC.  Sprawling out and upward, this metropolis is so different from my adopted hometown of London, but I enjoy so much of it in the same way:

Breakfast at Sant Ambroeus on Prince & Lafayette, SoHo
ferreting out welcoming spots to feast on big breakfasts and foamy cappuccino,
Street art mural in front of Kate's Paperie, 188 Lafayette Steet
making the most of the New York street colours and exciting backdrops.

I'm often awkward and self-conscious when posing for photographs, but Mom delights in drawing me out of my comfort zone.

Life is sillier, and happier, when we're together.

Has anyone ever been this happy on the subway?
